Content Guidelines
Tags are used to label, categorize, or highlight attributes or states. Tag text must be short, clear, and meaningful at a glance.
We follow these basic rules while writing content for tags:
Length
Keep tag text short and concise.
Aim for 1–3 words per tag.
Avoid full sentences or explanatory phrases.
Clarity
Use familiar and easily understood terms.
Ensure the tag clearly conveys its purpose without additional context.
Casing
Use Title Case for tag text.
Keep proper nouns as is.
Consistency
Use the same wording for the same concept across the product.
Avoid creating multiple tags that describe the same state using different terms.
Punctuation
Do not use punctuation in tags unless it is part of a proper noun or standard term.
Examples:
✅ 2 Ports Down
✅ Partially Migrated
